  • A lectionary is an assigned Scripture reading for a particular day.  The use of the Christian lectionary is as ancient as the Bible itself.  Morningtide offers lectionary references for 4 different traditions: The Revised Common Lectionary which is used in many Evangelical, Anglican, and Protestant churches, The Roman Catholic Lectionary, The Greek Orthodox Lectionary, and the lectionary for the Orthodox Church in America.  The lectionary helps to make Scripture reading a daily habit by reading a little bit each day.

*Some Scripture references in the Roman Catholic lectionary have been given less detail in order to fit them in the space provided.  For example: on Friday July 21, 2017 the Psalm appointed is: Ps 116:12-13, 15,16bc, 17-18.  In the Morningtide planners it reads: Ps 116:12-18* with the asterisk indicating that to save room we have put a dash between the beginning of the reading to the end of the reading.  We have done what we can to preserve the lectionary as much as possible. In some cases it was necessary to indicate a longer reading in order to shorten the way it is indicated in the planner.

This is by far my favorite Homeschool Planner. I love the option to personalize it. There is plenty of room for my plans, notes, observations and prayers for my students. The church calendar and devotions in the daily page simplify my life!
Outstanding paper quality and beautiful art make me look forward to using it every day !

Oh my goodness! Where do I start?? The design is beautiful, the colors are gorgeous and it has all you want: your own personalized organizer/planner, the way YOU want it! My favorite part? The resources at the end: if I want to learn more about, say, architecture, singing, recitation, there are references to podcasts! Brilliant! (That was a selling point for my husband.) Jennifer has thought of everything one could use in a planner!

I’ve tried every homeschool planner under the sun. Absolutely nothing worked for me because, while I might appreciate the layout or look or encouraging words, no product ever really incorporated the church year. As Orthodox Christians, our lives revolve around the church year. This planner not only incorporates the Church year within the planning pages, but suggestions for how to incorporate various feast day celebrations are included. There is room to write thoughts about the daily lectionary readings. There are prompts to help you zero in on what truly matters in your homeschool. This planner is high quality and totally customizable. Thank you Jennifer and Delany for all the hard work you put into designing these planners. May your efforts be blessed!

Love this planner so much! As a new homeschooling mom, I was really struggling with planning out my weeks for three different grade levels. This solved my problem by offering customized courses and sections for each child. Planning is now so much more fun and our days are more productive because of it. The best part is it includes the Bible readings for each day and major feasts! I can’t say enough about it!

I had been stalking this planner for months in hopes of buying one and then a sweet friend bought it for me! I am SO in love with it!! I’ve never been able to make a planner work for me and this one has everything I need. I’ve been able to get all of our homeschool planning in one place AND I have space for notes after the daily Bible readings.

I was just thinking this morning that I’d love to add the small planner to keep in a purse!

First of all this is quite possibly the most gorgeous homeschool planner I have ever seen, until I spilled my first cup of coffee on it, but then that made it truly mine 😬 I love this planner. As the mother of three boys in fifth, fourth, and first grade I needs some help with my organization.
I loved combining the spiritual side of my life with our academic, which isn’t necessarily what everyone needs but it was a perfect fit for me.
Beginning and ending my day in one place has led to less missed appointments as well. This may be only me, but I’ve often felt I was just barely managing the chaos and between lessons, crossfit classes, dance classes, church classes, play dates, dentist appointments, doctors appointments, and various other appointments I have missed an event or two simply because I forgot. Well, I haven’t done that this year, because I begin every week looking at the week ahead and then each and every morning I know what I’m doing that day not to mention the night before I’m made aware.
I’m able to keep notes on what each of my boys need to work on individually and I feel so much better about this year.
I am grateful for having this planner and I will purchase it again.

I absolutely love this planner so far! Just got it for the new year and it hasn’t disappointed yet!

It really keeps my mind organized having all the kids stuff in one place and out of my head written down.

I bought this planner to streamline my home, homeschool, and home business organization. I’m in my third month using the planner, and I’m meeting goals more effectively than I did before. I wish there were more pages to the homeschool journal, but for now I’ll be ok with paper clipping in extra pages we might need. I really like the one thing needful exercise. It works really well for me.

This planner is so well-thought out and inspiring to use! I’m still learning how to optimize it because it has so much to offer but so far it has been the best homeschool resource I’ve found for tracking and journaling about our days without overwhelming me. (I am not a person naturally inclined to organize so am thankful to say that this is one I’m sticking to better than some of my efforts with planners in the past). The beauty of this planner makes me more likely to pick it up and makes a delight to have in my office space.

I love this product. We use this daily in our homeschool life and not only is it functional, it’s beautiful to look at. This has helped me organize how my days go, plan ahead, and make goals for the month. I plan on getting another one when my year is done. The only thing I do differently is follow my 365 plan for the Bible study instead of the passages. I would highly recommend this product.

I have been so thrilled with my homeschool planner! I appreciated the ability to customize it in a way that suited me best–it has made planning very “open and go”. I used the grid format because I find the boxes helpful to me–so nice to have that option. I am homeschooling 5 kids between 6-16 with a preschooler along for the ride (and one child with special needs) and I love that this planner works for me without me needing to modify it.

I’m a long time home school mom and finding a home school planner is always a chore for me. I like certain things a certain way because as a special needs mom, it’s essential I have easy access to our days subjects with ease of use. Furthermore, since I schedule our life and home schooling around the Orthodox calendar year, I prefer not to have to write every feast day, fasting day, home school subject we’re studying a bazillion times. Morningtide’s Home School Planner Edition was the ticket! I not only have all our school subjects customized to fit our needs, but also the Orthodox Liturgical calendar I so longed for to help me integrated feast days into our home school day. I’m not even going to mention how gorgeous the artwork is throughout the planner. . .that, you will have to see for yourself! I’d give the Home school Planner edition ten (10) stars if I could! Thank you Morningtide!

As a first time homeschooling mother, I stumbled across this planner and immediately knew I needed it. Initially my favorite part about it was the resource information in the back. It helped me to choose what I wanted to teach to my children and then how to structure my day doing that. Indispensable! I also enjoy how solid the book is, nice and large on my table. I strive to achieve the personal goal guides that are given, and my new favorite part of the planner has become the reflections portion, where after we do our daily bible study, we each take time to contemplate and resolve our hearts and mind. I also love how there is space to record all of our schoolwork, so that everything is just where I need it to be when I review. The only thing I’ve noticed that doesn’t quite work how I’d like it to is the ring portion of the book. I find when I flip through and want to fold the pages back under, that the last pages come out of the rings a bit. Slightly annoying, but with so many pages in the book, I don’t know how it can be remedied. I’ve found a work around, but it might be worth addressing in future books.
